What an airline does when it has a problem is an indication of its values. A disruptive passenger landed 270 passengers in Belfast, and then United leaves them on the floor of the airport overnight. Second week running I am glad I stopped flying them.
Fridays UA958 from Chicago to London diverted to Goose Bay. In the end and about 36 hours late, passengers will be arriving at lunchtime today in London, having flown back from Newark. Ouch!
United’s web site – long a frustration for travellers when the new United replaced a perfectly good one with the one from Continental – is getting a make over.
