I wrote recently about a very disappointing experience at the Concorde Room at Heathrow Terminal 5. These rooms only exist at Heathrow and JFK and are reserved for the must frequent flyers and First Class passengers of British Airways. So, I was unsure what to expect at the ‘other’ club on my return from JFK.…

BA: London to New York, JFK First Class
One of the busiest routes for British Airways, London to JFK in First Class is a pretty good, if short, experience. Review of the seat, food and service from a recent late evening trip.
Poor show in the BA Concorde Lounge at Heathrow
Unable to get a table for food, unable to locate the cabana lady and no food coming, leaves Miles From Blighty unimpressed with the Concorde Room at Heathrow.
British Airways Galleries Lounge, Edinburgh Airport
A review of the British Airways Galleries Lounge at Edinburgh Area. Providing a lot of different seating areas, a range of cold food options and soup. A good place to wait for your flight.
AA.com lets me book a flight that doesn’t exist

BA London to Berlin, and the ‘loo delay’
The last flight of the day from London to Berlin is delayed for the strangest of reasons. No working loo flush. After getting out the manual, the correct switch was located and we were off. 35 minutes waiting for a switch!
One of the best BA flights ever, and just from London to Paris
A short trip to Paris turned in to one of my best BA flights ever, through the efforts of a single flight attendant who could not have been more efficient.
Great Business Class fares from Copenhagen to USA
Some excellent business class fares available from Copenhagen with British Airways for the autumn of 2014 and Spring/Summer 2015. Check them out now before they go.
BA and the US electronics rules – cannot turn it on; you cannot fly.
With the new rules on the travel for electronic devices to the US being introduced, British Airways has gone further – if it won’t turn on, neither you nor the device are flying. Some passengers may well be stranded for a time if the airlines finds your phone has run out of power. Those airport charging points are going to become a vital need for some.
OneWorld Lounges at CDG – Admirals Club and Cathay Pacific Lounge
On my recent trip from Paris to New York I was able to visit the Admiral’s Club, whilst on the connection back to London I went to the Cathay Pacific Lounge, located next door. The lounges are located on the 1st floor of the terminal, above Duty Free and are reached by two lifts. Once…
