A list of new flight experiences include the bloggers first trip on Qatar Airways, first visits to Jordan and Qatar and the first visit to the new airport in Doha. In addition, he will be travelling on United just after it moves to the new Terminal 2 at Heathrow. Keep your fingers crossed it all works better than flights from Terminal 5 when it opened.
BA Lounge, Rome (FCO) Airport – huge!
I flew back from Rome on British Airways, who used a 767 on the Tuesday after Easter Monday to accommodate the crowd. BA operates its own lounge at FCO. Located after Security and Immigration, look for the sign. A large lounge with plenty of space.
Tube strike suspended
TFL have just announced that the three day strike planned for next week has been suspended! Phew.
