I joined AerLingus’ GoldCircle club with a status match from bmi. I have yet to fly them but now receive their emails.

One today interested me as it relates to carry on baggage policies.

Each passenger can now take on a bag which must measure 55cm by 40cm by 24cm at most.

In addition you can take one of the following:

• A ladies handbag or gents satchel (no larger than 25cm by 33cm by 20cm)
• A baby changing or food bag
• A medical or assistive device

In addition Gold Circle Club members can take one additional personal item – e.g. a slimline laptop bag.

Quite nice for Gold Circle members!
