The Hilton Copenhagen Airport made sure that my return visit was better than my first stay. Super room, a good nights sleep and access to the Lounge all made me feel positive about this property again.

Are you revolting ? Against VAT fiddle at UK Airports that is!

Rumour has it – or rather the UK press are reporting – that passengers have got annoyed showing their boarding passes at UK airport when they shop airside. Why? Well it seems that some retailers are pocketing the refund of sales tax (VAT) which results from customers who are going abroad. Foul!

Wondering about your visits to the USA? Non US Citizens can see TSA Arrival and Departure Records

The reason that someone is given a secondary inspection at US Immigration is unknown to most. However, you can retrieve your arrival and departure records via a free TSA web site. More out of interest than anything I gave it a go and hey presto my records back to 2010 were displayed.

Heathow Rewards Premium members get fast internet at the airport

Heathrow operates a scheme where you can earn points for shopping. One of the benefits is that if you spend £500 in a calendar year you are awarded Premium status and then earn double points. Until now that has pretty much been the only benefit of being a Premium – and although pretty good is a little limited.…
