Hilton Diamond Membership is supposed to come with perks for the frequent stayer. Whilst an upgrade to a suite is always a super benefit, my recent stay at the refurbished and re-branded Doubletree London Docklands, saw me in probably the smallest suite I have ever seen.

Hilton offers the ability to check-in from its mobile app and to pick a room. What happens when you check-in and discover the room you have chosen has been changed to a handicapped room, with two double beds when you had booked a king?

Running a free shuttle to and from JFK makes this property typical of those at JFK. That it is slightly better than average is an indication of how poor the other options are here. A review of the Executive Club at the Hilton is included.
