Airport hotels often offer great rates at weekends when there are few business travellers. The Hyatt Regency at CDG, Paris is one of these. The Aer Lingus lounge in Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport services a number of airlines leaving from the newer of the two terminals at DUB. Busy in the morning for the US-bound passengers waiting to be called to Pre-Clearance, it serves as a reasonable place to wait. Great views of the airfield help pass the time.
What do you ask of an airport hotel? A good nights sleep and the Hilton Dublin Airport delivers that. Despite relatively infrequent shuttles and the 10 minute drive to the hotel, it offers good value and quiet rooms. If you’re not in a rush for an early departure it’s worth looking at.
