Just as the 90,000 Avios credited by Iberia for 10 bookings last weekend (if you lived in the right country), are posting, the ability to move Avios between BA and Iberia has gone down.

I was looking to book a ticket using my 90,000 and a few from my BA account, but that option isn’t available at the moment. I will try later in the day, but for now, is it cock-up or conspiracy?

This might be a way for Iberia to rein in a promotion that perhaps got out of hand – their are reports of people opening 20 accounts and buying 10 tickets on each – and could this be a way of limiting the ability to spend Avios? Of course, it could just be the BA IT team at it again.
