A lot of blogger here and on other sites have enjoyed the possibility of Iberia pulling out of their generous promo which ran over the weekend.

For those that slept through the weekend a quick recap. Iberia offered – for certain countries – 9,000 avios for each ticket booked. Early on people noticed that there was no need to travel to get the bonus miles. With a maximum of ten tickets people set about finding the cheapest segments on Iberia.

My 90,000 posted overnight last night and are sitting in my account.
