It appears that the Hilton rep on Flyertalk.com has issued an invite to match your status in another scheme, to HHonors.

Hilton is not as lucrative as Hyatt – no suite upgrades for example. In truth Gold level status is easy to secure – they run promos, credit cards off it etc. Diamond doesn’t offer a great deal more than Gold – but does give you lounge access even if you do not get a room on the Executive Floor. (Gold doesn’t let you in the lounge unless they upgrade you, but there are plenty of reports that they do make exceptions especially in Europe).
