A number of properties are going to category 7 which is 70,000 points per night. Some have left from Category 5 to 7! Even Dublin Airport is going from 4 to 5 which is pretty hard to justify for a property you can get for about EUR100.
Coupled with the removal of the 2-for-1 offer for US credit card holders it pretty much removes any value in the programme. Time to cash in.
Some of these are surely not worth going up. Have 110,000 points and was going to use them in Florida so I better cash in before they make yet another change! I used to love C.C but that has changed over the past 12 months or so. Used to have good value but now? Not so much.
@Bethany – totally agree – it’s time to take the points and bail
