After my latest DYKWIA incident at the BA Terraces Lounge at Geneva I remembered that I had not told you about the lounge!
Actually it’s quite nice!
In truth, don’t get excited. About a ten minute walk from the Security Lines, the lounge is not the largest to be fair. As it is wholly inside the terminal there is some natural light but not a great deal. The wall sockets are a mixture of UK and European which was helpful as I had forgotten to take an adaptor on the trip. Press the button the left of the door frame to gain access.
The food range for breakfast was pretty standard – pastries, cereal, yoghurt but with some nice muesli.
The BA WiFi was pretty fast and I was there for about an hour before anyone else turned up. The toilets are outside the lounge but directly opposite the entrance. There was a small selection of newspapers available.
Tea, Coffee, juices, cold drinks were all available and self service.
The British Airways flights use the B gates which are a good 10 minute walk under the runway to the midfield terminal. You do passport control midway to the gates.
