I suspect none of you have asked this question, but I wanted to let you know where I’ve been when not posting these past months – well not posting very often!

The blogosphere is pretty full of travel writers these days – the big guns as well as smaller, niche, blogs abound here and more generally on the web. That creates a small space for anyone like me writing a blog which covers some news, and plenty of reviews. The brands want to engage with the big guns – interviews, leaked promotions, special offers, all come to the larger blogs making it hard for the rest of us. Years ago, brands handled this differently.

Anyway, whine over.
