BA announced yesterday, over at Flyertalk, that they have released 13,000 extra reward seats to worldwide destinations for the period 14 Dec to 3 January. So if you had been thinking of going away it might be a good time to have a look and see what’s available on the web site.

BA are saying that they are available on ‘selected routes’ which might suggest unpopular or high frequency destinations.

A couple of routes I sampled were:

New York, JFK which had availability on 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 December.

Singapore (some via MH) had seats on 14, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30 and 31 December

So if you cannot face another Brussels sprout, it might be worth having a look if you can get away.
