I just managed to look up my USAirways flights on their web site using my AA reference. The AA booking, when looked at on the AA web site no longer shows the US reference. The US page shows its own reference but the AA code seems to work now.

This is good news as I usually have a ready note of the AA reference but have to hunt for US, now it appears (I hope) only one code is needed.
