Transport for London has published details of the timescale for the completion of the London Overground – which will then form a ring around London.

The last section from Surrey Keys to Clapham Junction will open for business on 9 December. The service will run from Clapham Junction to Highbury and Islington with up to four trains per hour.

New stations, now on the Overground will be:

  • Clapham High Street (Connects to Northern Line with short walk)
  • Wandsworth Road

Once the extension between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction is open, the Highbury & Islington to West Croydon/Clapham Junction line will have trains running up to every 15 minutes between:

  • Highbury & Islington and Clapham Junction
  • Highbury & Islington and Crystal Palace
  • Dalston Junction and New Cross Dalston Junction and West Croydon

This means that trains will run every 3 to 5 minutes between Dalston Junction and Surrey Quays.
