Hyatt is returning to the LAX area with a Hyatt Place that will have transportation to/from LAX. Whilst the Hyatt House at El Segundo is right next to the Green Line, you have to get a bus to the Green Line from LAX. My experience is that these buses are not very frequent.

I checked several dates in May and they’re $200-300! So much for competitive rates…
@Paul – yes I was shocked at the prices too. I suspect their core market isn’t travellers but local businesses
I work down the street, and this new location is surrounded almost exclusively by aerospace corporations. Don’t count on bargain rates, but if its like the others in the area, it should be easy to get per diem.
The actual hotel location is just south of the picture you show (far right). The Green Line station (Mariposa) is 1-1.5 blocks south. There’s a little business plaza half a block away with Starbucks, Subway, plus a couple healthy & tasty places (plus bad pizza and mediocre bagels).
