SAGA is basically the UK version of AARP, without most of the travel benefits. Originally designed to sell package holidays, they have migrated to financial services and insurances, all aimed at the over 50’s.
A decent deal fell in my mailbox this week.
Flybe is a regional carrier (means that mostly don’t serve London), which was a spin-off when British Airways abandoned regional flying.
Saga and Flybe are offering members a free upgrade to their ticket to a ‘Get More’ ticket for their basic ticket price by entering the code 50PLUS when booking. You still pay for drinks/food and upgrades to extra legroom seats. But it’s something for nothing!
You can collect BA Avios with flybe flights.
