Well I am pleased to report that the latest cross-earning deal, between UBER and Starwood SPG works for UK based members and those with UK billed credit cards for UBER. Well at least it should work as it allowed me to register for the scheme using my SPG number and UK UBER account. I haven’t been a Starwood person for a very long time, having about 230 nights to lifetime Gold status. So, it is worth noting that you must have had a recent stay (this calendar year) before you start earning points from UBER rides. However, SPG has recently released its Hot Escapes and EUFlyer has a helpful list. This includes the Skyline at Heathrow for about EUR92, although rates do vary significantly.
