The Heathrow shopping points scheme is offering bonus points on Apple products purchased at Dixons Travel from 1 Jan-28 Feb 15.

The deal breaks down as follows:

Double points when you spend £400 – £649.99
Triple points when you spend £650 – £999.99
Quadruple points when you spend £1,000 or more.

At 1 point per £1, a spend of £400 gets 400 points, doubled to 800. This would generate a £5 off voucher and 300 points left for next time.
A spend of £1,000 would earn 4,000 points with the bonus. This would generate vouchers worth £40.

If you an elite (‘Premium’) member of the scheme – i.e. you have earned 500 points in a year, you get double base points. This would increase the £400 spend to 1,200 points earned and the £1,000 spend to 5,000 points earned.

There is an instant redemption option for some stores now so that you can spend up to £50 of vouchers without having to wait for the vouchers to actually arrive in the post. The stores you can do this are:

If you need an Apple product probably worth doing as the prices should be tax free – i.e. saving the UK sales tax of 20%.
