About two weeks ago American Airlines clarified a problem I had where they turned me away from the Flagship Check-in at JFK. At that point AA were saying that it was because I was on an award ticket.
Yesterday, however, they changed their minds:
This matches up to the web site and whilst it makes my experience a mistake, it does make it clear that I should have been allowed to use the check-in.
Like the old fare class-dependent lounge access rules for Transcona, the flip-flopping on this just seems tacky.
