Some weeks ago I reviewed the Hilton Dublin Airport. You can read this review here.
On that occasion I paid a little extra and had a nice suite. This stay was much shorter and so I just went with the ordinary room I had booked.
In truth the room was fairly large for an airport hotel.
The view from the room was of a courtyard and air conditioning units:
The red comfy chair was comfy, and the TV had a large number of channels including most of the major UK stations. The hotel have me breakfast as a Gold HHonors member as well as a drink coupon which they let me use for room service. I had a fairly predictable burger for dinner:
and of course you may have noticed the sticky toffee pudding!
The bathroom had a full size bath and there was plenty of hot water in the morning.
Breakfast in the Restaurant had a wide choice of hot and cold items, and gave a me filling start for the travels.
There was one lift out of service for my entire stay which made the wait pretty long.
The shuttle worked well the next morning and I was back in the airport in plenty of time for my flight to Frankfurt, Addis Ababa and the Seychelles!
I loved staying at this hotel when flying out of DUB. I’ve tried the Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn, but prefer the Hilton. As a Hilton Gold, they treated me well, offered me an upgrade and free breakfast.
