I posted yesterday about my recent stay at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, but I wanted to update you on a stay later the same week.
After the stay that I posted about I was back at the hotel but could not secure an outside room. As I mentioned yesterday the inside rooms always feel a little stuffy to me. I tweeted the hotel asking if they could secure me an outside room for my next stay, a few days later on a Saturday night. They asked for details and said that they would see what they could do.
What they did was this:
An enormous suite, with the promised outside view:
Plus a few extras – a kitchen:
Complete with sodas in the fridge:
A huge shower and bath:
The bathroom was complete with its own TV:
The TV in the living room was huge:
with its own DVD player and a nice Bose audio system which gave great sound in the room.
The bedroom was lovely also:
There was a desk and computer, connected to the internet and overlooking the bay:
Plus, of course, the dining table for more people that I have followers on Twitter!
There was a half-bath just off the living room:
The views from the room were excellent:
I really enjoyed the room and appreciate that the hotel listens to its social media staff and that guest request delivered this way are noted and acted upon. Superb room!
This has just become the ONLY hotel I will be staying at when at SFO.
It’s nice to get a bigger room but if visiting SF it is nicer to be right down town. Beyond the chains there are some nice hotels of varying price range. So much goes on in this city.
@LevyFlight – Indeed a lot goes on downtown and I stayed here as I had an early departure the next day and did not want to pay for the cab from the city.
Congratulation on getting a great suite upgrade, I also love to stay here when I have early flight or late arrival. The FD staffs is excellent so do the Club Scott and Mimi.
