A long time ago, when BA was first sold off by the Government, they made an offer that passengers would enjoy a 10% discount on tickets each year. That was so long ago that no imagined that they could merge with Iberia, not that taxes would become so much of what we pay to fly.

Speed forward, and I assume on the advise of lawyers, BA have kept the discount. Indeed recently (last year) they removed the need for the travel to start in the UK. Sometimes things go wrong when booking the ticket, for example OnBusiness points often don’t post.

Today however, Loyalty Lobby brings news of a BA discount that works with the Shareholder discount.
