London City – my favourite airport in London now – announced that it is going to invest £15m in the airport during 2013. As some of you know I made an early morning tour of the airport earlier in the year as their guest.

The plan is to refurbish the Western Pier (which is the original part of the airport and so older), the International Arrivals Hall will be refurbished and they are going to do some work on their baggage handling facilities.

Nice to see that their airports owners have confidence in the operation there.
