Network Rail, who manage the infrastructure in the UK have just announced significant changes to the Christmas schedules for the Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect services from London Paddington to the airport.

If you are planning to travel after 22 December, you should note these changes:

Sunday 23 December
Heathrow Connect

The following changes apply:

• 05:20 Ealing Broadway to  Heathrow Airport T1,2,3 is cancelled. Customers should later Heathrow Connect trains
• 06:07 Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 to London Paddington will depart at the later time of 06:27

Heathrow Express

The following trains are cancelled:

• 05:10 / 05:25 / 05:40 / 05:55 / 06:10 London Paddington to Heathrow Airport Terminal 5
• 05:03 / 05:18 / 05:33 / 05:48 / 06:03 Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 to London Paddington
• There is no alternative transport available

Monday 24 December

Heathrow Connect

The following trains are cancelled:

• 22:33 / 23:03 / 23:33 London Paddington to Heathrow Airport Terminal 1,2,3
• 22:27 / 22:57 / 23:27 Heathrow Airport Terminals 1,2,3 to London Paddington
• There is no alternative transport available

The following trains will not call at Hanwell and West Ealing and are extended to / from Heathrow Airport Terminal 5:

• 20:03 / 20:33 / 21:03 / 21:33 / 20:03 London Paddington to Heathrow Airport Terminals 1,2,3
• 19:57 / 20:27 / 20:57 / 21:27 / 21:57 Heathrow Airport Terminals 1,2,3 to London Paddington

The 19:33 London Paddington to Heathrow Airport Terminal 1.2.3 is extended to run to Terminal 5

Heathrow Express

The following trains are cancelled:

• 19:40 / 20:10 / 20:40 / 21:10 / 21:40 / 22:10 London Paddington to Heathrow Airport Terminal 5
• 19:57 / 20:27 / 20:57 / 21:27 / 21:57 Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 to London Paddington
• Customers should use Heathrow Connect trains between London Paddington to Heathrow Airport Terminals

Christmas Day and Boxing Day
No trains will run between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport Terminals 1,2,3,4 and 5

A bus service will run every 15 minutes between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport (every 30 minutes after 19:55 on Xmas Day)

Thursday 27 and Friday 28 December
Trains will run half hourly between London Paddington to Heathrow Airport Terminals 1,2,3, 4 and 5

Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 December
A normal service will run

Monday 31 December and Tuesday 1 January
Trains will run half hourly between London Paddington to Heathrow Airport Terminals 1,2,3, 4 and 5
