The bad news at bmi keeps coming.

BA have said that the acquisition could cost 1,200 jobs. It is unclear where those jobs will be lost, but clearly the sale of some slots is likely to lead to less cabin crew and pilots. I suspect the loss of Diamond Club and I suppose bmi’s reservations will be merged with BA.

All sad for a once great airline – anyone remember Manchester to Washington and Chicago?
