The BBC World Service is just reporting an explosion at Nairobi airport – little information seems to be available at this point.

BBC now reporting that the fire started at the Immigration Office and involves the arrivals and departures building with passengers being held on planes. BBC Report here. BBC now reporting that arrivals area has been ‘destroyed’.
