BA moving paid Upper Deck seats 64A & 64B

There are numerous reports on Flyertalk that BA is reallocating passengers pre-reserved seats on the Upper Deck of their 747’s.

The seats causing the problem are the back row, left side aisle and window – 64A and 64B.

Checking my flight for August it appears that BA is blocking these for some reason – no one appears to have got BA to say what’s happening. This is especially annoying for non-elite passengers who have paid for seats only to be moved to ones they feel less desirable.

64A and 64C are good seats because you can get and out of 64A without disturbing the peron in 64B – a coup for BA’s Club World cabin where gymatics is a pre-boarding requirement for many seats.

  1. Interesting — I love 64A. I have a flight LHR SFO in late March and I just looked — I’ve not been moved … phew … 🙂

  2. obviously like your website but you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to inform the reality nevertheless I’ll surely come back again.
