No tube to/from Heathrow 24 Dec – 30 Dec 2021 and 2 – 3 January 2022

TfL are undertaking engineering works on the Piccadilly branch between Acton Town and Heathrow from 24 – 30 December and 2-3 January 2022. This will mean that travellers will need to find alternative routes – although TfL are running a rail replacement bus service.

The buses run as follows:

Service PL1: Acton Town – South Ealing – Northfields – Boston Manor – Osterley – Hounslow East – Hounslow Central – Hounslow West – Hatton Cross – Heathrow Central Bus Station (for Terminals 2 and 3 and daytime rail connections to Heathrow Terminal 5). Late night journeys also serve Heathrow Terminal 5

Service PL2: Acton Town – Heathrow Terminal 5 (on Boxing Day only, operates between Hammersmith and Heathrow Terminal 5)

Service PL3: Acton Town – Heathrow Central Bus Station (for Terminals 2 and 3) (on Boxing Day only, operates between Hammersmith and Heathrow Central Bus Station)

To add complications, the railways will not be operating Heathrow services on 25 and 26 December.

Heathrow Express services end on 24 December at 22:55 (Paddington to Heathrow) and from T5 at 22:27 and T2,3 at 22:32. They resume on 27 December.

Tfl Rail will also not operate on 25 and 26 December.

Comments

  1. So, to make up for closing public transport options, Heathrow decides to charge people to be dropped off. In any sane country, Heathrow should be fined at least double the revenues for the drop off charge.
