The British press is reporting that a Northern Irish man plunged to his death at Gate 3 in arrivals at Suvarnabhumi Airport by falling about 15m to the ground below. He was taken to hospital and later died there.

He has not yet been named whilst relatives are contacted.

The Evening Standard says that the local paper reports that he had tried to throw himself over a balcony earlier in the day but had been restrained by airport staff.  The Bangkok Post states:
