The BBC, and most other news outlets in the UK are warning residents and visitors of strong, and possibly damaging winds on Sunday and Monday. I am sure this will have an impact on aviation as well as public transport.
Once, several years ago I was caught in high winds on a train between Birmingham and London, en-route to Gatwick airport. The power lines were brought down and a diesel loco had to be called for. We were eventually drawn to St. Pancras station several hours late.
I hope, for everyone, that Monday will not be as bad as they suggest.
