I flew a couple of premium BA flights this month and wanted to share the menus for those interested.
In the small BA lounge at LCY there has been an improvement in the food offering to include pre-packed rolls and sandwiches, cakes and a range of biscuits:
London City – Shannon – New York, JFK
The flight from LCY to Shannon features a starter and drinks. Drinks are shown below:
Starters were a choice of Dublin Bay Prawns with celeriac slaw or Chestnut and thyme tart with cranberry or apple chutney. No picture available as I was so hungry I ate the prawns before I remembered to take a picture!
After take off from Shannon the crew serve a salad, entree and dessert. Salad:
Fillet steak glazed with Yorkshire Fine Fettle cheese and a rich tomato and olive sauce
Thyme-grilled breast of corn-fed chicken with creamed savoy cabbage, bacon and new potatoes
Roasted halibut with anchony Hollondaise celeraic, wild mushrooms and marjoram
Pumpkin, red onion and Chedder pan haggerty with sage
