BA has sent it’s Executive Club members an email advising that nothing is changing with EC as a result of the merger. We’ll see whether that is wholly true. It doesn’t talk about what happens for people who are already Gold with BA and Gold with bmi.

OnBusiness Points news

On 5th April 2012, selected bmi flights were given a British Airways flight number. This means that you can now earn On Business Points for your company if you fly between London and Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Lebanon, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan. If you have flown on any of these routes since 5th April, you can claim your On Business Points retrospectively at ba.com.
