BA are running an offer with Hilton to earn 1,000 extra Avios per weekend night stayed at the hotel chain, if you pre-register. The web site is here – register before you stay.

Terms are:

Bonus Mileage (Fixed Miles Members only): Earn 500 Avios per stay during the Promotional Period. In addition, earn 1,000 bonus Avios for any completed “weekend night” during the Promotional Period. A “weekend night” is defined as Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights for purposes of this offer. Stays at Hampton by Hilton and Homewood Suites will earn 200 bonus Avios per completed weekend night in addition to 100 Avios per stay.

Period of offer – 1 September 2013 through 16 December 2013

This seems to me to make the offer better than the 1,000 Virgin points I usually earn when staying at Hilton and so I am likely to switch my credits to BA for this period.
