Well, about an hour ago London offically became on Olympic City when the special road lanes for Olympic VIPs opened. Nicknamed ‘Zil Lanes’ by many Londoners – a reference to the VIP lanes in the former Soviet Union – they came in to action at 6am this morning. Trespassing in to them, be it car, lorry, bus or bicycle generates a GBP £130 fine – about $200.
