The fares for next Christmas seem to be loaded. The best ex-Dublin seem to be flying out on Christmas Eve and returning during the week afterwards. The trip above is on the BA A380 in each direction. Worth looking at if you’re interested in being away next Christmas!
The same fare appears to apply to Los Angeles, Seattle and you can upgrade to First for about EUR700 per segment. San Diego is a little more expensive. In each case the current Club sale is cheaper than Premium Economy.
Miami is EUR957, Austin is EUR1171, New York is EUR920 (and you can even catch the daytime flight back on some days. The New York fare and Miami fare allows you to route via Madrid if you have a desire to fly Iberia. You can read my review on my Iberia A340 trip from April 15 here. Chicago is EUR1033.
You can take EUR60 off for 7,500 Avios.
Toronto is EUR1038, Calgary is EUR1210 and Vancouver EUR1204.
American Airlines does not have the fares loaded as it has a shorter booking window than BA. AA’s web site is better if you wish to create complex routings. BA and usually do them on the phone but make sure you ask for the AA flight numbers for AA flights as BA books these in to First, where as if you book the BA flight number it books in to Business and so earns a lower rate of Avios.
