Amex in the UK run a range of statement credit promotions, whereby if you register, spend a certain amount in a single transaction at the given retailer, within the promo dates, you get a statement credit for a fixed amount.

The online Amex app works pretty well to identify and register for these promos. Below I have listed those of maximum interest and at the bottom a summary of some I find less interesting i.e. am less likely to use.
