I was browsing hotel options in New York around Easter and came across this ‘bargain’. As a Diamond Member of Hilton’s HHonors programme I get guaranteed room availability. But this offer clearly comes at a price – $6,000. Just for one room you understand, not the whole hotel.

Thankfully there are plenty of other choices for the day that I need.

I suspect they don’t want people to book!
