I had flown this route earlier in the year and not really enjoyed it, so it was with some trepidation I boarded for the 5 hour flight, on board a BA A321 aircraft. I had again selected Row 1, a single seat at the front of the Club World cabin.

The video monitor is located just above the foot well. The seat converts in to a flat bed. There is a vibrate function which works really well.

The crew on the previous occasion I had taken the route were slow and uninterested. This crew could not possibly have been more different – charming, engaging and constantly active in the cabin they were a joy. They started dinner fairly quickly.

After watching a couple of movies it was time to land and we secured a gate near the immigration area and I was off and out in about 10 minutes after paying for my visa-on-arrival.

A much better experience than the previous flight, with a great crew.
