Tube strike starts tonight (9pm) and lasts for THREE days

2014-01-05_07-57-43

Transport for London have published a list of the services they hope/expect to run once the tube strike starts tonight – 9pm on 5 May. (In fact not much after 9pm will run so the services published are after 7am tomorrow).

You can read a line-by-line breakdown of the services and open stations here.

I had to get about a bit last week and it was a mess. Top Tips:

  • Allow plenty of time for your journey
  • Expect buses to look different to normal and check the front for destinations – many stop short
  • Plan more than one route – unexpected station closures, full buses and blocked roads can mess with the best laid plans

Good luck.
