Looking back on 2013, TripIt tells me:

that I flew 130,000 miles or so, visited 40 cities in 11 countries all based on the information stored in their system about my trips.

In terms of status, I have managed to retain my Diamond Membership with Hyatt:

And flown over the 100,000 miles with United for 1K:

In addition, I have managed to requalify for BA Gold from the middle of the year, to the middle of 2015.

The trick of course is start to think about my travel pattern and plans for 2014….I suspect this weekend will see some planning going on. Let’s hope for a mistake fare or two to help during the year.

I will be aiming to renew both my BA and Hyatt status this year – both of them give real value for places I want to stay and travel. United is less an issue as a 3 Million Miler earns 1K every year without the need to do 100,000 flown miles. However, should I get to 4 Million in the next few years that should be Global Services for life and that’s pretty attractive, not that United no longer values its 1K’s.
