For the most part they have not, but there are a few gems about. Most book in to ‘P’ class, and many require you to travel on Air Canada or Lufthansa code-shares.

For many of the destinations that United fly from London direct (E.g. IAD or EWR) the direct flights are more expensive than the indirect and codeshares.
